 MISSION:
Brandon believes that sometimes, people just need a push in the right direction to get on the path to wherever it is that they want to be. That push can come in a variety of forms, but for Brandon's audiences, the push comes in the form of energetic, engaging presentations in which he uses funny personal stories, games, and interactive activities to bring home the point. Brandon believes in maintaining an optimistic and positive approach, while avoiding the common path of "sugar-coating" the tough facts.

 EARLY DAYS:
Born in Shreveport, LA, Brandon and his family moved to Dallas, TX, shortly thereafter. He grew up in the Dallas suburb of Richardson with his younger brother and sister, and went to elementary, junior high, and high school in the area. He graduated from Richardson High School and immediately began college at Baylor University in Waco, TX. While in college he majored in English and Communications and worked with local teens in the Waco community by facilitating camps, discussion groups, and events, and through music, sports, and mentorship.

From a very young age, Brandon possessed a passion for students and particularly, students from less-than-perfect situations such as divorced families, sub-standard housing, and abusive situations. Brandon's parents were divorced when he was eight years old, and he believes this challenge allows him to easily relate to kids from single-parent homes.

 PHASE 2:
After graduating from Baylor with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Brandon went to work for Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, at AudioNet, the Internet's first broadcasting company. Over the next ten years Brandon began speaking to audiences on a regular basis in a variety of settings including non-profit organizations and marketing/promotion firms.

 VERSION 3.0:
During his early years as a speaker, Brandon began seriously focusing on developing his speaking skills and establishing a confident, comfortable, and humorous style to which audiences could relate. From there Brandon began doing freelance speaking work for Monster.com's "Making it Count" programs with which he is still actively involved. In addition to speaking, Brandon jumped head-first into the world of marketing and promotions, working on projects for numerous well-known companies and individuals including entertainer Jerry Springer and Star Wars creator George Lucas.

 TODAY AND BEYOND:
Today Brandon is focusing nearly all of his time and energy on continuing to establish himself as a top-tier professional speaker. When he is not on the road speaking at colleges, high schools, and companies across the country and around the world, he is researching and expanding upon his eight programs and seminars. Within the next year, he plans on finishing two books based on his experiences and methodology.

Brandon feels very strongly about maintaining physical, mental, and spiritual balance in one's life and models this philosophy by living such a life himself. He exercises on a regular basis through weight training, yoga and cardiovascular strengthening programs. He loves music and film and has been a musician since he was 15. In addition to these pursuits, Brandon is an avid reader, usually immersed in three or four books at a time.
